Looking forward to performing with my dear friends from Milwaukee! This will be a great party!  

Looking forward to performing at Becket's on April 20th, 8:00 p.m.  I'll be joined by some of the "usual suspects" but this installment includes Noah Harmon.  You know him from several groups including Kyle Megna and the Monsoons.  .  Noah has been in my life since the beginning and he is a brilliant pianist.  Almost "savant-like".  You don't want to miss it! Great opportunities come along and this is one of those. I'll be opening for Al Stewart along with pianist,  Noah Harmon,  bassist, Andy Sachen and percussionist,  Ryan Korb. Here's more information on Al Stewart and the event: Al Stewart rose to stardom in the 1960's and 1970's as part of the British Folk Revival scene. He is best known for his hit songs "Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages". Al has released 20 albums since his first in 1967. In April of 2017, Al won the prestigious BBC Radio Lifetime Achievement Award for Folk Music. The Janet Plant Trio will open the show. "This could be the start of something big". The words of Steve Allen.  I was honored to have met him and receive several encouraging letters from him over the years. What I learned from him was to honor the lyrics and connect with the audience.  Now there's a perfect venue to do just that while the audience enjoys a fine dining experience. Perhaps some of you already know this but for those who don't, I'm a yoga fanatic! I'll be joining Deb Sommerhalder as we "tag-teach" for this fun event.  Here's the "poop": Janet Planet and Deb Sommerhalder will help you find your inner zen and celebrate you with a slow flow yoga class. Aaron Roecker, singer songwriter/guitarist will provide smooth live music and Janet may help direct you to your own "good vibrations". A celebratory drink "margarita" will will follow at Manila Resto. Cost: $15 No experience in yoga is required. Includes 1 hr of yoga followed by a margarita. BYOM: Bring your own mat.
