  • Tritone Jazz Camp July 9th – 15th

    Yesterdays are snared in the mind's eye and the memories are our joy and laughter. We perform and teach in the idyllic setting of Bjorklunden Lodge in Baileys Harbor. For a full week we are surrounded by a canopy of trees, the smell of great food, the beating of the waves of Lake Michigan as they  continue and morph in to hypnotic beats and waves of jazz.  Oh yes! and there's a bit of shenanigans and wine.     This is one beautiful place to listen, sip and soak in the sun.  We performed last year and couldn't believe that this gorgeous place exists right up the road.  But it's a small, world isn't? Listen Tom Theabo and Janet Planet Duo starts at 4:00 but come early there are more acts!!!

    The Mile of Music is a local phenomenon! We're so lucky to have live music supported to this extent in Appleton WI! During these days, College Avenue is bustling with fans and artists from all over the country. We'll be adding a little "side trip" to the bustle with "The Extra Mile".   If you're interested in some great food,  jazz and a place to rest your feet before heading back to the crowds,  join us! I'll be performing with some very talented musicians from our area: Tom Theabo (guitar), Mark Urness (bass), Ryan Korb (drums)   Below is a track that was recorded live in Milwaukee (mid nineties).  Let's continue to support local jazz.   • Jazz On The River -Wausau – Janet Planet Quartet

    "Walk on by" the duties of the yard and home improvement and float on a river of jazz.  Take a break, you deserve it! In this new 8 week series, the River Valley Jazz Society will add some spice to the Library Plaza every Sunday evening from 5pm-7pm.  Jazz on the River is one of many projects that highlights the City's commitment to declaring 2017 the Year of Local Arts and Music. Go Wausau!

  • Cigars and Jazz – A Smokin’ Fundraiser – Maritime Museum

    "It has been my experience that folks who have no vices, have very few virtues."
