Yesterdays are snared in the mind's eye and the memories are our joy and laughter. We perform and teach in the idyllic setting of Bjorklunden Lodge in Baileys Harbor. For a full week we are surrounded by a canopy of trees, the smell of great food, the beating of the waves of Lake Michigan as they  continue and morph in to hypnotic beats and waves of jazz.  Oh yes! and there's a bit of shenanigans and wine. This is one beautiful place to listen, sip and soak in the sun.  We performed last year and couldn't believe that this gorgeous place exists right up the road.  But it's a small, world isn't? Listen Tom Theabo and Janet Planet Duo starts at 4:00 but come early there are more acts!!!  

"Walk on by" the duties of the yard and home improvement and float on a river of jazz.  Take a break, you deserve it! In this new 8 week series, the River Valley Jazz Society will add some spice to the Library Plaza every Sunday evening from 5pm-7pm.  Jazz on the River is one of many projects that highlights the City's commitment to declaring 2017 the Year of Local Arts and Music.
