Guest Artists/Clinicians: Janet Planet & Dr. Jeremy Fox!!! Groups will prepare 2-3 songs to perform on stage with our state-of-the-art sound system and then participate in a clinic with either Lawrence University faculty member and recording artist, performer, teacher, and clinician Janet Planet (janetplanet.com) or Indiana University faculty member and Grammy-nominated vocal jazz arranger, conductor, and educator Dr. Jeremy Fox (www.jeremyfox.net). In addition to an on-stage clinic, your choir will learn from watching other high school and college groups perform, will attend masterclasses by both Janet Planet and Dr. Jeremy Fox, will have an opportunity to work on solo singing, and will be given FREE tickets to attend an evening concert by Janet Planet and her trio that you don’t want to miss. A professional rhythm section will be available to perform with your group if it is desired, and a private YouTube video of your group’s performance will be created so your students can watch their performance and share with family and friends.

We are so fortunate to have Jose' Encarnacion in our community at Lawrence University. He is a force! He's also an amazing educator, composer and saxophonist with an energy that is electrifying! John Harmon and his music will be celebrated at Lawrence University on May 24th. I'll be there to perform music he has written for me. Many guest artists will be featured and some surprises.
